Occultation Observation (Status: review in progress !)
Occultation Date : 2026-04-01 Star Designation : UCAC4 526-039779 Object Designation : (583) Klotilde Observation Result : O+ Observer(s) : Marek Zawilski, Mieczyslaw Borkowski Start Observation UT1 : 18:57:33 Disappearance UT2 : 18:58:15.20 +/- 0.050 Reappearance UT3 : 18:58:18.71 +/- 0.050 End Observation UT4 : 18:58:54 Duration [sec] : 3.51 Site Name : Lodz Country Code : PL Observation Method : VID Time Source : GPS Instrument/Optics : M200 Record last modified : 2026-04-07 12:43:36 Source / Reference : SODIS (account required) Observer Comments : The rapid LC drop at 18:58:21.31 UT has not been taken into consideration. No other observer has confirmed this light drop. Time-lapse re-check of the recording showed a sudden movement of the star (probably an atmospheric fluctuation) so that the star became not sharp in the 1-2 frames, causing a distinct light drop. Therefore, I assume the secondary light drop was caused by an atmospheric turbulation, not the real secondary occultation.
