Occultation Observation (Status: review in progress !)
Occultation Date : 2026-05-30 Star Designation : UCAC4 501-128887 Object Designation : (29606) 1998 QN94 Observation Result : O- Observer(s) : Joachim Siegert Start Observation UT1 : 23:13:54 Disappearance UT2 : :: Reappearance UT3 : :: End Observation UT4 : 23:15:54 Duration [sec] : Site Name : Utzenhofen Country Code : DE Observation Method : VID Time Source : GPS Instrument/Optics : M203 Record last modified : 2026-05-31 13:48:31 Source / Reference : SODIS (account required) Observer Comments : AOTA showed a possible event from frame 604 to 617. Being a local minimum only, having a very low S/N=1.9 (almost full moon) and an examination with Pymovie/Pyote showed a Sigma value of around 2 in the Noise Induced Event Test, I decided to report a miss. Neverthless I would like to ask the reviewer to have a look at that. If necessary, I can send AOTA tab.5 and report as well as the results of Pyote.
