Occultation Observation (Status: review in progress !)
Occultation Date : 2026-06-29 Star Designation : J144007.43+150811.3 Object Designation : (667) Denise Observation Result : O- Observer(s) : Eric Barbotin Start Observation UT1 : 22:06:08 Disappearance UT2 : :: Reappearance UT3 : :: End Observation UT4 : 22:09:08 Duration [sec] : Site Name : Etriac Country Code : FR Observation Method : VID Time Source : GPS Instrument/Optics : T508 Record last modified : 2026-07-02 19:37:31 Source / Reference : SODIS (account required) Observer Comments : This observation is somewhat questionable due to a very weak signal (the star was magnitude 14.9). I was supposed to be positioned practically in the center of the occultation path (8km), with a predicted duration of 9.1 seconds. The drop in magnitude was expected to be slight, estimated at 0.5 magnitudes. Nothing is visible in my data. Yet Roland Boninsegna, positioned 24.8 km east of the zone, recorded an occultation lasting 6.4 seconds. Either the path shifted eastward, or my measurement is incorrect.
