Observer Comments : Diffraction effect.
At this image scale, there were no nearby comparison stars for a 20 ms exposure. Data processing is limited to the occulted star, without reference stars.
Also suspicious are two points, 2940 and 2941, whose large brightness drop is not typical of turbulence.
