Occultation Observation (Status: review in progress !)
Occultation Date : 2024-07-15 Star Designation : UCAC4 376-107693 Object Designation : (28461) 2000 AL164 Observation Result : O+ Observer(s) : Peter Delincak Start Observation UT1 : 22:55:00 Disappearance UT2 : 22:57:05.900 +/- 0.10 Reappearance UT3 : 22:57:06.500 +/- 0.10 End Observation UT4 : 22:59:10 Duration [sec] : 0.60 Site Name : Zakopcie, U Golisov Country Code : SK Observation Method : VID Time Source : NTP Instrument/Optics : M400 Record last modified : 2024-07-19 10:15:01 Source / Reference : SODIS (account required) Observer Comments : The occultation has only two frames, but it is clearly a positive result. It happened exactly at the expected time, I checked the video recording frame by frame (I am attaching the 4 necessary frames). I did the analysis in both PyOTE and AOTA - the same results. The only problem is that there are only 2 drop frames, but the duration of the occultation is 0.6s, so it is highly likely that it is a real positive occultation.
