The Solar System Beyond Jupiter
JOA 2021, Vol. 11, No. 2, Page 9 Author(s): Mike KretlowAbstract: The outer solar system beyond Jupiter contains a vast population of small bodies. From Centaurs in the region between Jupiter and Neptune, over the trans-Neptunian objects at distances up to hundreds of astronomical units, up to the Oort cloud, at the limit of our Sun’s gravitational dominance. This article gives an introductory overview about these objects which are regularly presented here in the 'Beyond Jupiter' series.
