Grazing Occultations of Stars and Planets by the Moon in 2022
JOA 2022, Vol. 12, No. 1, Page 10 Author(s): Eberhard RiedelAbstract: The following maps and tables show this year’s grazing occultations of the brightest stars and major planets by the Moon in those regions of the world where most of our observers live. The overall limiting magnitude is 5.0 except for some lunar eclipse events where it is 10.0. An additional world map and table with all the grazing occultations by planets in 2022 conclude these predictions.
