Beyond Jupiter, The World of Distant Minor Planets: 2004 RX190 “Buffy”

JOA 2022, Vol. 12, No. 1, Page 28

Author(s): Carles Schnabel

Abstract: The TNO 2004 XR190 was discovered in 2004, orbiting the Sun every 433 years. It is currently the thirteenth most distant known large body in the Solar System with a well determined orbit. Indeed, the high orbital inclination of 47° makes it very special. At the beginning of 2021, an occultation was observed yielding a good estimation of his dimensions.
