JOA 2024, Vol. 14, No. 1, Page 36 Author(s): Alex Pratt; Oliver KlösAbstract: The 42nd European Symposium on Occultation Projects (ESOP) took place at Armagh Observatory and Planetarium (AOP), Northern Ireland, during the weekend of September 16 – 17 and it was a hybrid event held simultaneously as an in-person meeting and an online video conference. A total of 26 delegates attended the meeting, accompanied by 10 family members, and 55 persons participated online via Zoom, altogether representing Algeria, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Czechia, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Türkiye, the United Kingdom and the USA. The science meeting was followed by social excursions on the Monday and Tuesday.
